1st Original Issue. On Jet label with yellow / pink light beams. Time is a concept album written about a man from the 1980s who is taken to the year 2095.
With thick paper grey tinted inner sleeve with printed lyrics & band photo.
Some copies come with a back catalogue flyer insert.
First issues had a gold sticker on the cover saying "New ELO featuring..."
Second issues had a gold sticker saying "Electric Light Orchestra featuring..."
In Japan an alternative album art work was designed, but was not used, it became know as:
"Escape From Death Star”
This art work was eventually used for the UK 12" picture disc of "Ticket To The Moon" plus the German & Holland 7" issue's of "The Way Life's Meant To Be"
