All with unique record labels, clear inner sleeves, plus includes a lyric and information booklet, membership/merchandise leaflet.

A article ran on Music Week, November 11th, 1978:

"JET RECORDS is releasing a special edition ELO box set on December 1 as part of its biggest Christmas campaign to date. Titled Three Light Years, it will contain On The Third Day, Eldorado and Face The Music plus a 12-page colour booklet.

Each album will be in a specially printed inner bag with a special label from the original covers.

The box, which is silver and blue, will be shrink wrapped and retail at £8.99.

To coincide with the release of the box set, an ELO 7" EP will be
released, featuring four tracks — Can't Get It Out Of My Head, Evil Woman. Strange Magic and Ma Ma Ma Belle. The EP will be in a colour sleeve and will retail for 99p."

There were also promo copies of the box set produced, which also contained a 7" promo of "The ELO EP" single, for Radio DJs.

However If you look closely at the LC code on the CD's each number ends with 10/1 10/2 & 10/3 respectively indicating they're all part of a 3 disc set.
