1st Original Issue. On Jet label with white / yellow light beams. Time is a concept album written about a man from the 1980s who is taken to the year 2095.
With light blue tinted thick paper inner sleeve with printed lyrics & band photo. (euro & USA issues had a mono/grey inner sleeve).
All 4 JET LP 236 UK issues have "Mastered at Allen Zentz in L.A. California" stamped in the run out groove.
The use of (FZ 36361) US cat. number as sub number on the label is because the UK used the US master from Allen Zentz to mfc. for their press stampers, and did not own a master-cutting lacquer.
Some of the first issue LPs had a Time Shirt & Timex watch offer included. (Credit Patrik Guttenbacher)
Personally, one of my favourite ELO Albums.

Different ELO Logo design, different layout of all text/fonts & different album credits.
Issued with a light blue tinted thick
paper inner sleeve with printed lyrics & band photo.
There are two issues with different rim text.
A later (1983 ish) pressing with different rim text and Jet Records Info at bottom of the label.

In Japan an alternative album art work was designed, but was not used, it became know as:
"Escape From Death Star”
This art work was eventually used for the UK 12" picture disc of "Ticket To The Moon" plus the German & Holland 7" issue's of "The Way Life's Meant To Be"
