Republic of Ireland/ Eire issued ELO LPs.

Polydor,  United Artists , Jet Records and Epic issued Vinyl LP's in Ireland in the 1970's and 1980. Album sleeves and inner sleeves were printed in England.

LPs often had "Mfd. In Ireland” over printed on “Made In England” on the LP labels and generally had UK issued catalogue numbers.

No Irish CDs were issued/made and only 1 Irish compilation , being the standard "ELO Greatest Hits" from 1979.

Only two 7" singles were made/issued in Sweden

There may also be a JET Records issue in 1984/1985 with cat code JET 32397, or it may be a UK issue imported in to Ireland

Again proof is required.

Notes

LP Labels states “ Made In the Republic of Ireland” This was a Re-issue from 1976 (E/C/G ST 76), because this album was already on JET Records, so when the JET Records marketed by Polydor contract expired, JET had to give the order to manufacture new issues.

E.L.O. had a new distribution contract (since summer 1976) with United Artists. So the new Jet LP’s for Face The Music got a alteration with the United Artists copyright sentence, and therefore it was the very first (real) Re-Issue of an E.L.O. Album!!!

Out of the Blue was the last "studio LP" to be "Manufactured in England" / "Made in Sweden" and carry the NCB Rights Society info, after that Holland / UK / Germany LPs were imported without any changes to Cat Numbers, Artist Rights or label designs being made.

To a certain point, it was now nonessential in which county the LP, or CD was made and/or the sleeve was printed as most of the ELO releases were planned for the whole EU-market. (with the exception of some larger EU countries like German and Spain.)

See Holland/European Discography HERE

Record shops would watch for every European release, and so you could buy several releases from other EU Countries in your country.
