OLE ELO USA issued 1976 - LPs and CDs.

Due to the size of the USA and various pressing plants around the USA,  it is nearly impossible to collect and show all the different label variations. So instead, listed below are the main found issues of ELO's "OLE ELO" Compilation album issues on LP & CD in the USA.
Originally a promo-only release, received a commercial release upon UA's realization that ELO fans were selling it "underground".

Notes

Promo / DJ issue in 1976 in golden vinyl with sheet for D.J's

Album sleeve is totally mono and the front cover is does not have the band name and just a small OLE ELO is at the top front.

This LP features the long versions of ROB and Kuiama

There are also Red, Blue & White  vinyl versions, they all come in three white plain covers.

This Tri-colour Set was only made in a very low limited number for the Bicentennial of the USA in 1976 and are very rare.

Some copies came with an black and white promotional insert which was an "appreciation" letter to radio stations.

The Promo issue credits Roy Wood for production on track A1 on the LP label and on the back cover.

Notes

ELO's first compilation album issued with plain white inner sleeve, no lyric sheet.

The first issue UA LP label credits Roy Wood for production track A1 on label but not on back cover.

Mono design except for the front sleeve that had coloured album sleeves. The liner notes on the back featuring producer credit for Jeff Lynne and Roy Wood plus info on Strange Magic being a forth coming single.

Second regular Issue in November 1976 with the same cat.no. UA-LA-630-G, but with edited versions of ROB and Kuiama, but the LP label listed the (wrong) full length track times. Plus it had new and different info about Strange Magic (which by then was a hit single).

Notes

Re-issue in 1977 by United Artist with a "Sunburst" label design. This issue still has the incorrect label track times of the edited versions of ROB and Kuiama.

The Jeff & Roy producer info is now removed from the top of the rear cover,

But Roy's producer credit was still on early issue side 1 LP labels !

It came with a UA advert paper inner sleeve.

There was two very different label layouts issued.
